Dr. Draper has 25 years of experience in discovery and development of small molecule and biotechnology products. During his recent tenure at Charles River Laboratories and Sierra Biomedical, Inc., he amassed substantial experience in understanding the biology of nonhuman primates and their use for toxicology/safety assessments. His drug development expertise encompasses therapeutic modalities/biologics including monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, proteins/peptides, oligonucleotides (including siRNA), and various gene and cell therapy platforms. He has designed and/or managed 50 preclinical programs and has directed 300 toxicology studies in a variety of animal models.
